Gang Warily Pond

This is our biggest lake set in the heart of the Gang Warily site. The lake offers the fisherman a great variety of features with many reed banks, lily beds, an island and drop-offs. The lake is well stocked with specimen carp up to 26lb. This seasons largest catch so far is a 21lb ghost carp. The lake is also well stocked with tench, rudd, roach. Due to the range of fish the lake is perfect for carp or match anglers or perfect for children chasing their first catch.

Holbury Manor Pond

This is a horseshoe shaped lake. It is a very sheltered lake by lots of trees and is a very relaxing place to fish. This pond has always been popular due to its tranquil and personal nature. Well stocked with carp, tench, roach and rudd it offers the perfect place for child or adult anglers.

*You must obtain a fishing permit from reception from Gang Warily to fish in both lakes. Day, week or season tickets available. Please see our price list below.

*You need a valid Environment Agency Rod Licence if you are aged 12 or over and fish for salmon, trout, freshwater fish, smelt or eel in England (except the River Tweed), Wales, and the Border Esk and its tributaries in Scotland.

If you have caught a fish in our lake that you are proud of send it in and we’ll put it on our gallery.
