Activities On Offer & What To Expect

When arriving for any indoor activities, please try and adhere to the following guidance.

  1. Try to arrive just before your slot starts to avoid unnecessary queuing, if you do arrive early then please wait in the car park.
  2. Arrive ready for your activity as changing rooms will not be available, also only bring essential items with you (Towels will not be permitted in the gym)
  3. Where possible, try and go to the toilet before coming to the centre, toilets WILL be available for customers, however we would like to keep their use to a minimum.

Fitness Suite

Our fitness suite has been divided into two locations, we have the main gym which has had some equipment removed to allow for social distancing and this is now on Court 4 in the Main Hall. Both areas will operate independently and so you will need to choose which area you want to book into as you will not be able to move between them, see below for a list of available equipment in each zone.

2 x Rowing Machines
1 x Thera Vita Trainer
Indoor Cycling Bikes may also be available outside of class times

Main Gym

3 x Treadmills
1 x Cross Trainer
1 x AMT
All resistance equipment
All free weight equipment (Max 4 people at any one time)

1 hour slots will be available for people to book at set times, these slots all have a maximum capacity so please make sure you book in advance.

When you arrive, you will be directed through to the right area using our one-way system.

Everything will have been disinfected prior to your booking however small spray bottles and cloths will also be available for you to clean down each piece of equipment after use.

All equipment had been spaced into their own zone, including the weights area which will have a maximum capacity of 2 people.

Please ensure this is adhered to and that zones are rotated so all users get a chance to use the equipment they want.

At the end of your session, please leave the spray bottle and cloth in the disinfectant bucket provided and make your way out following the signs for the one-way system.

Badminton

Badminton is now available up to a maximum of 6 players per court, we will not be able to provide equipment however, slots can be booked by contacting reception as we need to ensure there is time for cleaning between groups.

When you arrive, you will be directed through to the right area using our one-way system.

Everything will have been disinfected prior to your booking and hand sanitizer is provided throughout the building.

At the end of your session, please your way out following the signs for the one-way system.

Indoor Cycling

Indoor cycling classes will take place at set times on Court 3 in the Main Hall.

When you arrive, you will be directed through to the right area using our one-way system.

Everything will have been disinfected prior to your booking and hand sanitizer is provided throughout the building.

The instructor will take you through the rest of the session.

Fishing

Our pond at Gang Warily is now open providing social distancing is always maintained and our usual rules and regulations are followed. Holbury Manor pond is unfortunately closed until we can complete the required maintenance work - scheduled for March 2021

If you would like to become a Season Ticket Holder or purchase a Weekly ticket then these can be purchased from Gang Warily during our amended opening times, however please call ahead to ensure we will have someone available to deal with your enquiry.

Senior Get Fit Class - Monday 10:00am - 10:45am

This class has been devised for those who are over 50+ and want to keep fit and healthy and socialise.

The instructor will take you through a range of exercises that will help improve all aspects of fitness. The class is for all abilities and is structured in a way that allows everyone to go at their own intensity. Come along and give it a go!

HIIT Circuits - Monday 6:00pm - 7:00pm

HIIT circuit’s applies the popular High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) method that is proven to work if your goal is to build lean muscle or to achieve a toned look. Each circuit is set up with equal amounts of resistance and cardio work with a variety of different equipment. HIIT Circuits is high intensity class but is ideal for all abilities.

Box Fit - Tuesday 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Box Fit focuses on both cardiovascular and resistance exercises by utilising boxing gloves and pads. Box Fit is a fun and effective way to burn calories and tone the whole body. You’re able to work at your own pace in Box Fit which makes it perfect for all abilities

Kettlebells - Wednesday 7:30pm - 8:15pm

This fun class utilises Kettle Bells to perform a variety of exercises that will work your whole body.

Kettle Bells is ideal for all fitness abilities and particularly beneficial to those that would like to tone and improve general fitness levels

Legs, Bums and Tums - Thursday 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Legs, Bums and Tums is designed to target those stubborn parts around the middle. This a fun class with a mix of resistance exercises targeting your legs, bum and core whilst also including cardiovascular exercises. This moderate intensity class is suitable for all abilities
