Once again, people of the Waterside and further afield have been invited to attend Fawley Armed Forces Day, which will be held at Gang Warily Recreation Centre on the 28 June 2014. This is a FREE event for everyone to enjoy.

The event is aimed at celebrating the efforts our troops make, and have made in the past. The event will open at 11.00a.m and close at 6.00p.m. There will be stalls, food vendors, bar, military vehicles and re-enactors, as well as live music, arena performances, walk around entertainers and other entertainment throughout the day.

There will also be a fly-past from a Dakota.

Ryan Hayman, Operations Manager for Fawley Parish Council, said ‘This is a great annual event which is always well attended by both local residents and public from further afield. This year’s event is set to be another brilliant family fun day out, in which people of all ages can enjoy themselves, and learn about our Armed Forces past and present’.

Come down on the day and show your support for our Armed Forces.
